Understanding Organizations using Algorithms

Organizations are multi-actor goal oriented systems. Their behavior is the result of processes that aggregate the behaviors of their constituent actors. 

Machine learning (ML) algorithms (supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning) are powerful tools to conceptualize and model these aggregation processes, as well as analyze data about them.

This site describes ongoing research by a network of business school professors who explore such linkages between organizations and algorithms.
