Organizations are multi-actor goal oriented systems. Their behavior is the result of processes that aggregate the behaviors of their constituent actors.
Machine intelligence based on algorithms that can learn (e.g. machine learning,
deep learning, Gen AI) are shaping how organizations work as well as changing our ability to conceptualize, measure and model
these aggregation processes.
This site describes ongoing research by a network of business school professors formed in 2018 who explore such linkages between organizations and algorithms.
